Food and family are intertwined for me. When we were first pregnant, my husband and I made a commitment to eat as many meals together as a family as we could.

I love to cook, and I love to cook with my kids. Not necessarily all the time. Involving them in the process of preparing meals is not only a fun activity we can do together, but it teaches them about real food and healthy eating.

Occasionally, I'll share some recipes that I've invented, my kids have invented, or some trusted standbys that we love. I have a hard time following a recipe verbatim, so I'll share the original and my modifications when applicable.
